About RETC
Who is the RETC and what do they offer:
- Thirty-two member board from various sectors of the community
- Meets on the 4th Monday of each month; meetings are open to the public
- Funded by the governments of Rhea County, City of Dayton, City of Graysville, and Town of Spring City, as well as private memberships
- Facilitates the Three-Star Program for Rhea County
- Helps to maintain and create jobs by:
- Assisting existing industries and business in their sustenance and expansion efforts and recruiting new industries and businesses by:
- Providing assistance in securing job training
- Providing assistance in obtaining funding for infrastructure and other needs through loans and grants
- Assisting in finding prime locations
- Furnishing community data
- Working closely with the State of Tennessee and other federal, state, regional, and local government officials.
- Shares information about Rhea County at industrial and tourism trade shows
- Provides brochures about Rhea County to Welcome Centers and other entities across the nation
- Maintains RETC website featuring information about Rhea County and its municipalities, our members, and services we offer
- Members are offered:
- Free link and logo placement on site
- Reduced rental rates of Welcome Center community room
- Ability to post information in the Welcome Center
- RETC support and recommendation to potential clients
